According to a Hindustan Times report, ‘Apara Rahat Kosha’ has been set up by the Government of India for the monsoon-affected people of Himachal. Aamir donated 25 lakh rupees to that cell. Everyone is very happy with this action of the hero. Himachal Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu repeatedly thanked the actor.
He wrote, ‘Thank you for helping with the relief for the rehabilitation of the affected families.’
The Chief Minister of Himachal also donated 51 lakh rupees to the fund for the rescue of the affected families. Various states including Haryana, Bihar, Odisha, Tamil Nadu are also helping with money.
