Daughter-in-law, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is also a huge fan of hers, and it has come to light many times. Funny moments of in-laws and grandparents are often noticed on social media.
An elated Aishwarya was seen in a viral video in 2015. After the award ceremony, Aishwarya cheered and shouted Amitabh’s name, “He is the best.” After that he kissed his father-in-law’s cheek. Big B was taken aback by Aishwarya’s heinous behavior. “Don’t behave like Aaradhya,” said Amitabh, comparing Bauma with her granddaughter Aaradhya. Aishwarya immediately said, “Everyone knows.” Aishwarya hugged Amitabh’s chin with his hand again, unprepared.
Aishwarya, however, has always been impressed with Amitabh’s work. In an interview, he said, Amitabh will forever have the status of foreigner. In the words of Abhishek-Gharni, “We are all a family now. He (Amitabh) is the head of that family. I think no one can take this place away from him. Abhishek has repeatedly said that no one can take away the glory of his great work. We all respect him. He is a role model for all.”
Amitabh-Aishwarya have been seen acting together in films like ‘Mohabbatein’, ‘Bunty Aur Babli’. Amitabh’s last appearance was in Sooraj Barjati’s ‘Uchai’. Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra were his co-stars. Amitabh will next be seen in ‘Gopinath’ and ‘Project K’.
