Entertainment Desk: Anwara Khatun (92), grandmother of actress Parthana Fardeen Dighi, has passed away (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun). He died at his home today at 8 am on Thursday. Dighi’s father actor Subrata confirmed the death.
He said that his mother was suffering from various problems due to old age. This morning he became more ill. Later the doctor came and declared him dead. The mother will be buried at the Shaheed Intellectual Cemetery in Mirpur after Asr.
Dighi is saddened by the death of his grandmother. In a post on Facebook, he said, ‘My nanu, my old lady passed away this morning (inna lillahi wa inna ilahi rajiun). Everyone will pray for the departed soul of my grandmother.
