Emraan Hashmi has been involved in many controversies since the beginning of his career. One of them was about 10 years ago in ‘Koffee with Karan’ when he got into trouble for making controversial comments about actress Aishwarya Rai and actress Mallika Sherawat. Emraan Hashmi said about that in a recent media interview.
As reported by Hindustan Times Bengal, Emraan Hashmi said in a media interview that he made many enemies in the industry after a comment he made about actress Aishwarya Rai during ‘Koffee With Karan’ Season 4. However, Imran also said that he did not want to make that comment to hurt anyone.
Besides, Imran also said that Mahesh Bhatt was with Imran on that chat show 10 years ago. There Karan asked him what comes to his mind when he says Aishwarya? Imran replied ‘plastic’.
Meanwhile, Imran made similar comments about Mallika Sherawat. Interestingly, the actor had no enmity with those he made controversial statements against. Imran publicly apologized to Aishwarya after this incident.
The actor said, he did not mean plastic in the sense that most people understand it. Emraan Hashmi also claims to be a big fan of Aishwarya.
Imran, however, still feels that he himself has not changed much. ‘If I still go to that show, I will light a fire’, he said. The actor also said that he cannot control himself in rapid fire.
