The award was presented at a ceremony in the delegates’ dining room at the UN headquarters on Thursday. It is mentioned in various media of Bangladesh that this award has been given by the United Nations. At the same time, it is mentioned in various reports that this actor has been appointed as “Global Peace Ambassador”.
Blitz, a portal dealing with various contemporary international issues, started verifying its authenticity when the discussion started. They also contacted the UN authorities to know the matter.
According to Blitz, the “Institute of Public Policy and Diplomacy Research” which awarded Zayed Khan is not an organization authorized by the United Nations.

Expressing anger against the criticism, Zayed Khan said, “It should make the people of Bangladesh happy, proud that a boy from Bangladesh has received an award. There is so much negative talk about it. I don’t put them on. But what a small nation, you will be more proud that it says Zayed Khan Film Actor Bangladesh. I gave them the video. The video showed me being awarded. Still, is there any value in such talk?”
It is known that some professionals bought a domain in the name of this organization on September 20, 2022 and launched the website. Since the start of the yatra, many people have been awarded “lifetime honors” by the organizers. The award list includes many dignitaries including US President Joe Biden. However, no information was received from the White House about this award.
According to information provided on the website, apart from an office in New York, the company also has offices in Switzerland and Luxembourg. However, there is no information on the activities of Switzerland and Luxembourg offices on the website.
Although the website was launched in 2022, the company claims it was established in 2017. A person named Carlos Manuel Perez Gonzales is the president of this organization and Dr. Another founder is Andrzej Bess. Frederic Ordins is named as the international director.
