Entertainment desk: ‘In the courtyard of the mind, in the veins of the brain, black smoke / in the drawing room, in the ceiling, in the bed, in the pillow, blue, blue alien’, Indian Bengali singer Nachiketa Chakraborty and Bangladeshi singer Amirul Momenin Manik appeared with a song adding melody to the words. The title of the song is ‘Neel Parakiya’. Music composed by Parvez Jewell. The musical film based on the song’s story is produced by Shahriar Palak and his production house Theater Music Factory. Amirul Momenin Manik composed the words and music. The song was released on YouTube channel called ‘Manik Music’.

Nachiketa Chakraborty said about the song, ‘Nowadays alienation has become a disease. Countless happy and beautiful families have been and are being destroyed by this degradation.’
Nachiketa also said, “I think breaking up a family and killing all the members of a family is an equal crime. Manik and I sang ‘Neel Parakiya’ together to create awareness against this horrible alienation. The video is made keeping in mind the heart touching story. Hopefully, ‘Neel Pareakia’ will spread and a social movement against parakia will be created through it.”
Neel Parakiya video maker Shahriar Palak said, ‘I have made many videos but I got a different inspiration to make this song. Architect Nachiketa Chakraborty of Jibanmukhi and Amirul Momenin Manik of Daraj Kantha sang brilliantly. As the song is great, me and my team are trying to make a heartwarming video. Now if the audience likes it, our labor will be worth it.’
Nachiketa and Manik have collaborated in several songs before. In 2014, when the song titled ‘Ai Bhor’ was released in the voice of two people, it got a huge response in Bengali. Later, Manik composed two more songs titled ‘College Life’ and ‘Tumi Kon Partyer Lok’ with lyrics and tunes by Nachiketa.
