It is reported that Apple is about to release new iPad models. According to a report by the 9 to 5 Mac website, Apple is preparing to introduce more iPad models in the coming months. The iPad Mini, two iPad Air models, and an M3 iPad Pro will be among them.
The new iPad mini could be launched in late 2023 or early 2024. It is codenamed as J126B. According to reports, the iPad mini 7 will be released keeping the same design as the existing models. The current iPad mini model was launched in September 2021. A15 bionic chip was in this. The new iPad mini will definitely have a faster new chip. More details are still unclear.
There are also plans to launch a new entry-level iPad. It will also feature a USB Type-C port in a similar design to the iPad Air. The entry-level iPad is codenamed J507 and J508.
The iPad Air may also undergo significant changes. Apple is testing two versions of the iPad Air, codenamed J537 and J538. Sizes and specifications may vary.
Apple is also trying to upgrade the iPad Pro. It will also include an M3 chip. The iPad Pro model is manufactured under the code names J717 and J718. The company is also testing 11-inch versions codenamed J720 and J721. It is not clear what the changes will be. A new Magic Keyboard for iPad may also be introduced.
The new iPad models will be unveiled at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2024. But it cannot be said that all models will be released. Apple has not officially responded to these rumours.
