Regarding the CBI at Firhad-Madan’s house, Deb said, ‘If someone has done something wrong, he should be punished. And if the matter is done in political conspiracy then very bad for the future. Because no one will have power all his life. When others come to power, they will take the same approach, which is bad for the country. And Babida is quite a senior leader. I believe that he is not among these. Moreover, he knows how to handle everything. He did a good job as a mayor.’
