Entertainment Desk: Bollywood hero Ranbir Kapoor was on Wednesday summoned by the ED in the Mahadev betting app scam. Ranveer was scheduled to appear at the Raipur ED office in Chhattisgarh, India on Friday (October 6). However, Ranveer has asked for two weeks’ time from the ED.
But this incident has made Ranveer think to some extent. It was understood by watching a video that went viral recently. It shows Rishiputra losing his temper on the picture hunters. Ranveer, who used to smile and talk when he saw the cameramen, Ranveer suddenly looked at the camera angrily.
According to ED sources, ‘Ranveer may not be directly connected with this online betting app scam. Therefore, he was not summoned as an accused in such circumstances. He has been summoned for questioning to find out how much information he has about the money he received from that organization, the source of that money, or how much information he has about the financial transactions of that organization.’
The two owners of the Mahadev betting app, Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, both reportedly ran the operation from Dubai. Those who registered in this online betting app by creating a new ID, their money was deposited in a benami bank account.
