On the other hand, this artist who emerged from the Miss World Bangladesh competition has made the opposite claim. He told the police that he had been threatened to kill him.
The incident happened last Friday (August 4); On the shooting set of the drama ‘Sawshur Kemla first day’. Chamak’s call time was at 10 am at Anandbari shooting house in Uttara of the capital. It is known that he appeared at 11:30 in the morning. Earlier, the assistant director called at half past nine. Drama actor Arash called at 10:30. Chamak appears and wants to know why Arsh called, is he the artist coordinator? From then on he started misbehaving with everyone for no reason. Even though he was praised, he continued to get angry.
According to an eyewitness account, after the first scene was over, the production manager told Chamak, ‘Apa, the shot is very beautiful’. And as if to lose his temper even more surprise. Then the director of the drama Adib Hasan told him, ‘The way you are reacting; No such incident happened here. Why are you bullying them?’
He made it clear that he would not do surprise shooting. At that time, senior actor Masum Bashar was also with the producer.
At one stage of the incident, the actress informed the police. The police spoke to actor Masum Bashar and left. Chamkar also had a discussion with Masum Bashar about this. When the police came the second time, Chamak cried and said that he was threatened to be killed. He claimed that many people on the set including Masoom Bashar did it. Nazneen Hasan Chumki, Joint General Secretary of the Actors Association, appeared there to handle the situation when it got complicated. He calms down the situation by talking to everyone. At that time, the shooting of the drama was stopped.
Chumki said, ‘The incident started at noon. I arrived after 4 o’clock. So it’s hard to say without fully understanding what actually happened. We will sit with everyone. Then it will be resolved.’
Chamak was contacted about the matter but he did not respond. On the other hand, the producer of the drama has written a complaint to the Directors Guild and the Actors’ Association. The organizations have advised both parties not to speak to the media until a resolution is reached.
