“Some Islamic groups have gone to the police in some districts asking for a ban,” said the official. But the government did not ban the movie. It is not even banned in Kerala. We have ordered all law enforcement agencies to be on high alert.’
After the release of the trailer of the movie, the controversy was deeply rooted. Allegedly, the trailer shows 32,000 women missing from Kerala, who later joined the militant group ISIS. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan believes that if this movie is released, the secular environment in Kerala may be destroyed. For this reason, the Kerala government and the Congress also called for the film not to be released in the state. Later it made it to court. But the court dismissed the case.
