Digital payment service UPI is reportedly experiencing nationwide outages. People cannot send money through UPI apps. According to the information provided by the Down Detector website. The problem was reported from 7 am on October 14. and increased in the afternoon.
Some are able to send money, but usually have to wait longer. Customers say this issue persists even without apps like GPay, Cred and Paytm.
But there was no official response from UPI and NPCI social media handles confirming the issue. Therefore, the reason for the suspension of payments is not clear. The Down Detector website states that the issue has been reported from various parts of India.
