Entertainment Desk: Actress Mahia Mahi has bought the nomination form to be the candidate of Awami League in the upcoming 12th National Parliament election. He wants to be a candidate for Chapainawabganj-2 seat.
Mahi himself confirmed the purchase of the nomination form on Facebook.
Mahi wrote on Facebook at around 9 pm on Saturday, ‘Alhamdulillah, by God’s mercy, today I collected the party nomination papers of Bangladesh Awami League for Chapainawabganj-2 seat. Inshallah, I will go and submit the nomination form on November 20 at 3 pm.’
It is to be noted that actress Mahia Mahi bought the nomination form to become Awami League candidate in Chapainawabganj-2 constituency in December last year.
He is serving as the joint general secretary and convener of the Rajshahi Division of the Central Committee of the Bangladesh Awami League’s ‘Bangabandhu Sansiktan Jote’.
